Manifestations.............a blown ink series!!

Hi Friends.......my experiments continue ......this time it is ink on paper, a series inspired by this post by the very creative artist Sanketi of  The Storyteller!!

No sketch has been used here, I have just used a dropper to drop various ink colors on paper directly, the stems and leaves are also made using the dropper directly on paper freehand, some drops are blown using an empty ball pen and lastly used a wet brush to merge colors a bit.

 a closer look..............................

I love the fluidity and the movement these vibrant colors bring and work so well wet on wet . These dry to be permanent and are great to create layers because of their transparency.

.......... the credit for me to discover the very affordable Camlin colored drawing inks goes to the very talented Nandini. Am continuing my experiments with these inks on multi-media, will share in my next post......
