Painted bottle

Hi Friends
I altered this bottle some time ago but didn't get time to share with you. This is a Jam bottle, I have used fevicryl glass colors on this.

On the outside, I have doodled freehand some patterns with the black outliner and then filled with glass colors. Used outliner and glass colors on the lid also. I then used silver acrylic color on the lid and distressed with black acrylic colour by painting and wiping with a rag in some areas. I am liking the distressed look on the lid with basic color supplies I had.
Have experimented with coating the bottle with silver acrylic color on the inside to give a kind of mirror/mercury glass finish and it seems to have worked quite well!! It also gives it a three D look and make the designs and colors really POP!!

am liking it..........

Pl do let me know what you think of it...

  16. I like how you took something plain as a glass jar and managed to turn it into something so brightly colored and fun! The black surely makes those delicious colors pop up, I love the finished glossy look!
