Hello Friends
A Mixed Media work celebrating Spring...........
Celebrating Spring Mixed Media |
I don't have any WIP pictures for this, started with a background with watercolors on thick Grunge like watercolor paper.
Celebrating Spring Mixed Media |
Used a stencil and texture paste to create the tulips and greenery...........
Celebrating Spring Mixed Media |
random stamping in the background using archival inks in Black and coffee and Bo Bunny, rubber texture stamps & Hero Arts stamps. No need to mask the stencilled areas as these are going to be covered with acrylic colors.
Celebrating Spring Mixed Media |
layers of acrylic colors in different shades and colors thru the stencil.............stamping with white acrylic and a three dot small stamp and bottle lid circles..........the butterflies have a touch of color and glitter......
Celebrating Spring Mixed Media |
The sentiment is computer generated......and the tiny flowers are made with home made air dry cold porcelain clay and colored with acrylics ............added some black ink splatters to finish off...
Celebrating Spring Mixed Media |
I am loving the lovely colors and textures here, hope you like this too !!
