Steampunk Mixed Media |
Hi Friends
Recently I attended a Facebook demo class by Antonis Tzanidakis. He is an incredible mixed media artist. last year he was in India doing workshops and I was lucky to have attended his Delhi workshop. Now a days due to the Covid 19 situation , it is difficult to travel and also to get any kits and he is conducting workshops on You Tube and private Facebook groups . This project is titled Mr 'T' and I used mostly his techniques and some improvisation at my end.......... enjoy the pics, some in process pics and some detail shots ..........

The right hand bottom composition was changed as I thought it was too big and the clocks etc were replaced with a steampunk heart mounted on a broken compass piece..........

ReplyDeleteWhat kind of resin do you use for your molds. Please e-mail me since I get e-mail better on our farm. I have Prima Marketing molds and clay doesn't work with their molds and question resin or epoxy. lehill@mtida.net
ReplyDeleteHello Nancy , thank you so much for visiting my blog. For big molds I use clay ( any air dry clay or epoxy clay) and for detailed molds with delicate designs I like to use resin ( a local brand 2:1 ratio) as it flows easily in all the tiny spaces. I use an ice cream stick to mix the resin and also to drop carefully into the molds, for most of Prima molds one can drip straight from a paper cup too. thanks again
