just playing with Acrylics and Ink Sprays in my handmade Journal..........

Acrylics and Ink Sprays

added Gesso, some die cut flowers, the butterfly is a Heartfelt creations die cut. There are lots of layers of texture , metallic paints and lastly ink sprays. I liked the effect of sprays on the metallic acrylic paints as it kind of created a harmony in the color layers and also brought contrast, depth and shadows. The butterfly is a shaped Heartfelt Creations butterfly from Botanical Wings Die set with a salvaged zipper.

started with stenciling  with Modeling paste….

after drying start colouring with Vivids in  shades of Blue…..

  added punched flowers and die cut flourishes, rhinestones and paint splatters .......

 Another one with Primary elements with The Solution and Bind and Resist by Colourarte inside the ornament and stencilling with a Decoart stencil with Varoom Red........
