"The Gaze'.........for ColourArte.....

“If thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee” — Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil

dear friends
Today I have a post on the ColourArte blog here............

I started with a 8"x8" canvas board and added some decoupage papers and stenciling .......

Stenciled the Girl face on to the canvas board using Black Modeling paste and added more layers of textures with stencils and white modeling paste

Painted the girl face using various Vivid metallic colors, added more texture with Radiant gels and layered with paper die cuts and metallic embellishments …
covered the paper die cuts and embellishments with black and white gesso and painted with Vivid metallics

added highlights and shadows with white and black Posca pens….some rhinestones and glitter is added ……..

textures highlighted with Metallic waxes
