Glass and Metal....

Hello friends

here's another bottle up-cycled by using homemade texture paste, stencils and some handmade bottle cap embellishments.I have used acrylic colors in Black, Burnt Sienna and Metallic blue to give a faux metallic patina effect on the bottle.

The bottle caps have been flattened using a hammer and sequins, chunky glitter and bling added with crackle accents. You can also see my bottle cap windchimes here for more details.

This altered bottle is wonderful. Looks like it just came out of an ancient trunk on a Roman galley ship. The texture is out of this world! Thanks for joining us at Craft Hoarders Anonymous!

Oh that well dressed bottle! Those textures and colors are absolutely scrumptious. I've never even thought of flattening bottle caps. (Thanks. Now I have more items to hoard.) I'm so glad you shared this project for the metal and glass challenge. It's a stand out!
