Masked beauty...... for ColourArte

Hi Friends
my post for ColourArte today......

I started with a plastic mask in gold colour and covered with white Gesso , added a flourish die -cut on one side……..

I doodled free hand with a three D outliner in Gold and copper to add dimensional doodles. You can also use Ranger stickles etc to get the same effect.

Crackle paste and heavy gesso to create more texture

you can see the cracks forming here….

Selected colours of Primary Elements Arte Pigments, The solution and water in a mister bottle ….

Here is the mask after sprinkling three shades of blue and spraying with the The solution mix….

adding Black Cherry…..

adding Solar Gold....

Mixing Back Ice Primary Arte Pigments with ColourArte Glaze Medium.....

Covered the mask with the Black Ice Glaze and wiped with a wet wipe …..

This in one step creates shadows around all the texture ……….

see the contrast here …before and after adding black Ice

Enhanced the texture using metallic lustre in silver and Gold dry brushed on to the raised areas……

please visit ColourArte blog here for a complete tutorial and pics. I have a slide share video for you too there.
