Hi friends

I altered a plain cardboard box to a pretty spring inspired gift box with some colors which are quite unusual for me. 

I added Sailing Sky Chalk paint from Little Birdie as a base coat , then added a layer of Little Birdie One step crackle medium and then yellow acrylic paint on top.

just added some flowers, die cut elements,resin butterfly , some sequins and black ink splatters to create this quick mixed media altered gift box .............some stamping with a text stamp and archival black ink finishes this.........

I do hope you like this quick spring inspired alteration....nothing like a quick and simple project to get some creative satisfaction when you are running short of time....now just to fill the box up with some crafty goodies to send to a friend :)
