Gift Box with Little Birdie Embossing Texture Paste

Gift Box with Little Birdie Embossing Texture Paste

Hi Friends
I created this simple cardboard gift box with Little Birdie Embossing Texture Paste  Embossing Paste -Frosty Fizz and Iced Slate and Color Splash by Little Birdie….

Applied some Embossing Paste through a stencil and heat embossed the same………the embossing paste gives raised texture. It is possible to build interesting layers of texture , the resultant  texture is tint-able and light.

I love the textures created with the Embossing Paste and the movement in design by using the satin thread .Hope you'll like it :)

Mail Art and a Recycled Gift Box with DecoArt

Hi Friends

sharing a gift box and Mail Art envelopes today using the New Decoart Americana Neon lights paints  I got recently. These come in five beautiful colors..........

NEON LIGHTS COLORS

Fluorescent acrylic paints made with bright, concentrated pastel neon colors.

I used a silicon mat to use as a Gelli plate , added colors and using a paint brayer spread the paints and took prints on the envelopes and the recycled gift box ( actually the box is the kraft box in which the paints came from DecoArt) ........

After many layers of paints using various stencils, I used Archival Inks and various stamps to create the  designs.........

Second envelope.........stamping with neon paints and some plastic lids/ stamps and archival inks also some Washi tape......

Stenciling with neon paints and doodling with Posca pens on the gift box........

DecoArt Crackle paint and some paint splatters.....
To make the focal image to pop more, I stamped it on a separate piece of card stock colored with the neon paints randomly and stamped the image on it, fussy cut it and glued on the stamped image on the envelopes, Did this with the butterfly/bird  and flower images.......

I do hope you liked these !!

DIY Gift Box and Paint Brush Holder

Hello friends, I decided to create a paint Brush holder and a Gift box by upcycling a Liquor box .......

this is the liquor box which was cut in the middle and upcycled to create the gift box and Brush Holder

I have used TATTERED LACE and DRIFTWOOD Shades of Little Birdie Matt Chalk paints from Itsy Bitsy for this.

You can see all the details and some tips and tricks using Chalk Paints in my post on the Itsy Bitsy blog here.
