Mixed Media Burlap Card

Hi Friends.........a mixed media burlap card with lots of handmade embellishments

........with a mixed media envelope too........
 ............Here is the set together..............

I got the pack of burlap cards with the envelopes by DCWV as part of a blog hop prize and really wanted to make a card for a special blogger friend who designs unique cards.

Here is a closer look, sequin waste stencil and homemade texture paste on the background, the sprocket die-cut is painted with a homemade glaze using acrylic paint and gel medium, the brown and silver foil is a chocolate wrapper and the flower is a handmade one with air dry cold porcelain and painted with acrylics, sentiment is computer generated, the twine is the Rs 15/- ball from the hardware store, a wooden button and little piece of cardboard complete this..

The envelope is stencilled using orange, gold and silver acrylic colors mixed with gel medium and sequin waste stencils.....

I do hope that 'someone' likes it as much as I have enjoyed making this :)

Please do leave your comments. I would love to read what you say and I would love to visit your blog too !!

Rainbow colors card

Hi Friends, this is a simple card for the Rainbow-colors-without-rainbow challenge, I have used handmade paper for the base .The PP is made with crepe paper left from my son's birthday celebrations, glued with a glue-stick on a shirt packing thick card and hand cut into a nice shape.Have wrapped a twine and embellished with a handmade twine flower. The lovely lace is courtesy my tailor who salvaged some pretty ones for me from the waste.

Hope you like it..........
