A single quilled flower

 Hello...........my third post today.
This is a simple card with a single quilled flower made with 2mm strips, I liked how delicate it looked!! I have taken white card stock base, scored and folded it, then folded the front panel and handcut an oval shape.Used shocking pink and white acrylic colors and only using my fingers painted the front. Inside is painted with red and white mixed randomly.

the acrylic colors have given the paper a pretty pearly sheen, have used pink half pearls to frame it. The colors and the excessive ornamentation is reminiscent of Victorian art to me!!

Hope you like it...

A cheerful sunny day

quilled card
Hi Friends

Just a quick quilled card. The background paper is handmade paper and the textured white card stock is salvaged from the cover of an old project report submitted by one of my father's PhD students.

Hope you like it.....thanks for dropping in
